As CRM consultants we often get questions from our clients about how to optimize and get better use out of Sage CRM. In this blog I wanted to share a popular questions on how to integrate Sage CRM to the iPhone 6 and iPad.
QUESTION: We use Sage CRM and wanted to upgrade our phones to the new iPhone 6. Is it possible to set up this integration? Does Sage CRM work with the iPad, too?
ANSWER: Here are step by step instructions on setting up Sage CRM with the iPhone 6 or iPad. *
*It is important to note, you should always consult with your certified Sage CRM consultant before making any changes to your Sage CRM system.
Sage CRM screens on the iPhone / iPad were designed taking into account the “limited real estate” of the mobile device. It is simple to navigate and intuitive.In order to utilize Sage CRM on the Mobile device, you require valid mobile licenses and be granted access on a mobile device by the admin
STEP 1:
To login, open Safari on your iPhone / iPad and enter your URL pointing to your CRM installation
http://yourservername/crm
Upon login you are presented with a simple and efficient menu
STEP 2:Clicking on My CRM will direct you to your calendar, communications, opportunities, cases, leads.

STEP 3:
By clicking on My Home Page, it will bring up your Dashboard
You can search by Company, Person, Case, Opportunity, and Lead


Sage CRM for iPhone users can call directly from any record containing a valid phone number by clicking on the phone field.
To view a map of the contact location, click on the Map icon in the Address field

STEP 5:
Adding a New Company:
Select New

New Company screen is displayed.
